Metal polishing services in Worcester & UK-wide.
We polish fabricated metal parts to the grade you need, from a practical satin brush that hides fingerprints to a full mirror finish that reflects its surroundings. Polishing is carried out in-house on stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, either as a standalone service or as the final step after cutting, folding and welding.
Manufactured at our Worcester workshop and delivered anywhere in the UK — from single prototypes to scheduled production runs, with next-day delivery standard across the Midlands.
What's included
- Hand and machine polishing in-house
- Mirror, satin and brushed finishes
- Stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel
- Deburring and grain restoration
- Standalone or integrated with fabrication
How we deliver polishing
Our polishing process, end-to-end.
01
Assess the surface
We inspect the part for weld scale, scratches, laser dross and existing grain direction. This decides whether we start with coarse grain restoration or move straight to finer polishing stages.
02
Deburr and grain
Edges are deburred and the surface grain is unified using the correct abrasive sequence. Getting this stage right is what makes the final finish consistent.
03
Polish to grade
Parts are polished by machine or hand through progressively finer compounds until they reach the agreed grade — satin, brushed or mirror.
04
Protect and dispatch
Finished faces are protected with film or wrapping where needed, inspected for swirl marks and defects, then packed for collection or UK-wide delivery.
Typical applications
Where polishing is used.
Architectural metalwork
Visible trims, fascias and panels that need a consistent reflective or satin finish.
Food and pharma equipment
Hygienic stainless surfaces that are easy to clean and resist bacterial adhesion.
Branded enclosures
Mirror or satin front panels and bezels that give end products a premium appearance.
Restoration and repair
Re-graining and re-polishing worn or damaged stainless parts to bring them back to specification.
FAQs
Polishing questions, answered.
Can you achieve a true mirror finish?
Yes — we can polish stainless steel to a high mirror reflectivity. The time and cost depend on part size, geometry and starting condition.
Is polishing included with fabrication?
It can be quoted as part of a complete fabrication route or as a standalone service on parts you supply.
Will polishing remove scratches and weld marks?
Polishing will improve or remove minor scratches and weld discolouration, but deep gouges may need repair first. We assess every part before quoting.
